Thetford C200-C500 Cassette Toilet Spares

This page covers spares for the Thetford cassette toilets fitted to most UK caravans and motorhomes: the C200 range (including C223 and C224), the C250 and C260 range (including C262 and C263), the C400 range (including C402 and C403) and the C500. Thetford's own spare part listings often use an SC prefix for the same models, so SC250 parts are C250 parts, SC400 parts are C400 parts, and so on. Both naming styles appear on this page.

The parts that wear out are predictable. The blade seal, or lipseal, is the usual cause of a leak between bowl and tank, and the blade opener and blade mechanism follow it. Holding tanks take a hard life: wheels, the telescopic handle, the pour-out spout and its cap, and the vent and vent filter are all replaceable. Electrically, the flush pump and the reed switch that drives the level indicator are the two common failures, along with control panel overlays and wiring harnesses. To identify your model, look at the sticker on the holding tank or on the back of the bench, visible through the outside service door. The part number is shown in brackets after each product title.
