Truma Ultraheat & S3002-S5004 Spares & Parts

Truma's S-series gas fires - the S3002, S3004, S5002 and S5004 - are the drop-down convector heaters fitted to hundreds of thousands of UK caravans. The Ultraheat is the 230V electric element that mounts behind them so the van can be heated on mains hook-up. Both are still well supported and most faults are cheap to put right.

The usual failures are ignition related. The piezo ignitor kit, the spark electrode, the thermocouple and the safety pilot valve kit account for most heaters that will not light or will not stay lit. On the Ultraheat side it is normally the heating element, the PC board or the FY1 sensor. Gas control knobs, knob sockets, control rods, front cases, fire tops and mica windows are the common handling and cosmetic replacements, and roof cowls, cowl tops and flue kits cover the outside of the system. TEB fan kits and TN control panels are here too for blown-air installations.

Your model number is on the data plate behind the drop-down front panel. S3004 and S5004 parts are often not interchangeable with the earlier S3002 and S5002, so check before ordering. All parts listed are genuine Truma. If you are unsure which version you have, get in touch.
