AL-KO ATC Caravan Anti-Snaking Kits & Spares

AL-KO ATC is the trailer control system that senses the start of a snake or a sway and applies the caravan's own brakes to pull it straight, before the driver has had time to react. It is factory-fitted to many British caravans and can be retro-fitted to most AL-KO chassis, which is what the kits on this page are for.

Retro kits are sold by caravan make, by axle count and by weight band, and that combination is what decides which kit you need. We stock Swift kits in single axle 750-1300kg, 1301-1500kg and 1501-1800kg, and twin axle 1300-1600kg and 1601-2000kg, along with Adria single axle and 1801-2000kg kits and the generic ATC and ATC 2.0 kits. Your caravan's MTPLM is on the chassis plate and is the figure to match - fitting a kit from the wrong band means the braking force is wrong.

The rest of the page is the wiring that makes an ATC installation work: the main wiring harness, the insulating diode kit, and the LED looms, which differ by caravan. There are separate looms for Swift pre-2014 and Swift 2014 onwards, and a Bailey loom, because the rear lighting wiring changed.

ATC is a safety system and should be fitted by a competent engineer. Get in touch with your chassis details if you want a kit confirmed before you order.
