Whale Water Pump, Watermaster & Easi-Slide Spares
A Whale water system comes in two halves: the pump that moves the water and the socket it plugs into. This page covers both, along with the pipework, filters, taps and showers that go with them.
Pumps are either submersible, dropped into an Aquaroll or barrel, or inline booster and pressure pumps mounted inside the van. They are rated by flow — 10, 13, 14 and 16 litres per minute are the common ones — and the usual reason to replace one is that it runs but will not prime, or hums without pumping. A pump that cycles on and off is more often the pressure switch, the surge damper or a blocked filter than the pump itself.
Sockets are the other half. The Watermaster inlet socket and the Easi-Slide range share the same sliding lid, and the lid, the O-rings, the socket microswitch and the service kit are all sold separately, which is almost always cheaper than a whole new socket. Easi-Slide also covers the 230V mains, BBQ gas point and isolator switch versions, so the lid you want may be listed under one of those rather than under water.
Part numbers are moulded into the socket body or printed on the pump label. If you are not sure which pump or socket is fitted, get in touch and we will work it out with you.
