Truma Ultrastore & Carver Cascade Water Heater Spares

The Carver Cascade was the water heater in most British caravans through the 1980s and 1990s. Truma took on Carver's caravan business, so Cascade spares now carry Truma part numbers, and the Ultrastore is the Cascade's direct successor. That is why both appear on one page: if you are chasing a Cascade part you will often find the Ultrastore equivalent beside it, and the adaptor that converts a Cascade installation to an Ultrastore is here too.

What usually fails is the 230V immersion element (850W and 1300W versions exist and they are not interchangeable), the gas valve, the electronic PCB, the control panel, and the seals around the drain and pressure relief valves. Frost damage from a heater left full over winter accounts for a good share of the rest, which is why the drain plug and the safety drain valve are among the parts we are asked for most.

The Ultrastore is sold in 10 litre and 14 litre sizes, and the casings, water containers and lids are specific to each, so check the capacity on the rating plate before ordering a body part. Flue and cowl parts vary with how the heater was installed; the wall cowl extension suits panel van conversions where the wall ribs stop the flue reaching the outer wall.

All genuine Truma parts. Check the part number on your old component before ordering, and get in touch if you are unsure.
