Elsan Fresh Water Tank Cleaner kills algae and bacteria, clears black spot and descales calcium build-up from your fresh water tank, pipework and taps, all with a chlorine-free formula, so there is no lingering chemical smell or taste afterwards.

It is the ideal job for the start and end of the season: clean the system before you lay up for winter, then again before your first trip in spring, and your water will taste like it should.

How Much Do I Need?

Use 100ml for every 20 litres of tank capacity. One 1 litre bottle treats up to 200 litres - enough for several cleans on a typical caravan or motorhome tank.

How to Use

1. Add the correct amount of tank cleaner to the empty fresh water tank.
2. Fill the tank to the top with clean water and run each tap until the solution comes through.
3. Leave to soak overnight.
4. Drain the tank and system completely.
5. Refill with fresh water and flush through every tap until all loose deposits are cleared.
6. Repeat only if the system was heavily contaminated.
